The Alpha Course
We usually run an Alpha course on Monday evenings from September to December which is open to everyone. If you would like to register for the next course please email us.

The Alpha course provides an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. The course runs weekly and is free and open to anyone. The talks address such questions as 'Who is Jesus?', 'what about suffering?' and 'What about other religions?'
Two million people across the UK are already estimated to have taken part in local Alpha courses, now running at over 7,000 Churches of all denominations. In addition Alpha is run in 150 countries throughout the world and had been translated into 63 languages.

Our course leader explains:
"The course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We don't shy away from difficult subjects but give people the opportunity to ask and express their opinions. The meal is an enjoyable part of the evening when we get to chat, have a laugh and make friends - it's very informal."
The course starts with a meal, followed by a talk and the chance to discuss the basics of Christianity.
