A Caring Place – Our Vision
Most of us at some point in life, reach a time when we find ourselves unable to solve personal problems on our own. Caterham Counselling Centre is a caring place with a vision to bring healing, hope and love to those who struggle with life’s issues.
We offer a confidential service by counsellors who will listen without judging. We seek to give people the time, care, support and counsel to help them through healing and recovery. We all deserve to live healthy, significant lives as we relate to others in meaningful ways.
Our counselling approach is person centred and integrative as we seek to keep our clients best interests at heart. As Christians, we believe that God not only hears our prayers, but acts on them. Our counselling services are offered regardless of denomination. Our service is available to anyone in the community.
Professionalism
All our counsellors are fully trained, under regular, professional supervision and are committed to on-going personal development, keeping up to date with current issues. Our counsellors are members of ACC (Association of Christian Counsellors) and adhere to the ACC and BACP code of practice and ethics.
Charges
Our current charge is £15 per session although assistance may be possible for those on restricted incomes. A private counselling service is also available, details of which can be given on request.
Sensitivity & Confidentiality
Some people today may be finding it very difficult to admit that they are facing problems that they cannot solve on their own. Asking for help can be both difficult and stressful. Our staff are aware of this and therefore strive to make the booking both simple and easy to follow. Every enquiry and booking is handled sensitively and in the strictest of confidence.
