Which one is right for me?
We are here to help you find that out. We have a number to choose from, so we are sure there is a group that is just right for you. To help you in finding the right one please email us or call the office on 01883 330162 and ask for one of the Elders. Just let us know you are interested and we'll take care of the rest.
What is a homegroup?
Each group is a small group of people connected to Caterham Community Church, which meets regularly to enable people to grow together in the love of God. Each one is a part of the wider church, which seeks to bring healing, hope and love to others.
We share together in teaching, worship, prayer and action demonstrating love for one another through practical care and support. They are made up of ordinary people.
Why should I join a Home Group?
If you have ever listened to a teacher or preacher and just wanted to say, "Stop - I don't understand", or, "Yes, but what about ....", then you are likely to enjoy a Home Group! Home Groups provide an environment where you can ask questions, discuss matters relevant to today and hear others share insights from their own experiences.
Many people who have been part of Home Groups say that a great benefit is the opportunity they provide to get to know other people in a relaxed atmosphere and how friendships develop as a result. In the meetings people soon discover that their needs are not unique - we are all in the same boat. Others in a group can share what they have learnt in the process. They are safe environments where people can learn to communicate honestly with one another. God never meant us to go it alone in the Christian life - if you're lonely then joining a Home Group can be a big help.
